In this case, the wooden chair, which serves as the model for building a mould, will be dissambled and each piece integrated in the moulding process.
Therby the original - here the wooden chair - becomes a part of its own copy.
The 1/6 chair treats the placekeeper idea in a production related way where the tectonic way of assembling different parts is opposed to the plastic master forming of objects in a single cast.

Hier wird der Holzstuhl, der als Modell zum Bau einer Gussform dient, anschließend in seine Einzelteile zerlegt, welche einzeln in den Gussvorgang integriert werden.
So wird das Original, also der Holzstuhl, zu einem Teil seiner eigenen Kopie.
Der 1/6 Stuhl betrachtet die Idee des Platzhalters aus produktionstechnischer Sicht, in dem das tektonische Zusammenfügen von Bauteilen dem plastischen Urformen von Gegenständen entgegengestellt wird.
