The conceptual work 3/4 placekeeper chair focuses on the multiplication aspects of the original objects and their symbolic value. The used kitchen chair stands for the original. It is devided into four parts and shared with so called placekeeper objects.
While the object of utility steps out of the focus, the symbolic value experiences a reproduction through a kind of cell division.
3/4-Platzhalter-Stuhl | Diplom 2012
Die konzeptuelle Arbeit 3/4-Platzhalter-Stuhl beschäftigt sich mit dem Thema Vermehrung des symbolischen Wertes eines Originals. Der gebrauchte Küchenstuhl stellt hier den Träger dieses Wertes dar, welcher zersägt und auf vier Platzhalter-Objekte aufgeteilt wird.
Während der Gebrauchswert des Stuhls in den Hintergrund rückt, findet eine „Zellteilung“ und somit Vervierfachung des symbolischen Wertes statt.
